Additional Information:
These were sold individually and as sets and are made with material from the launch or launch pad of the maiden flight of the specific shuttle. Sets 1 and 2 are 8 medals each, 7 of the maiden flights and a center piece(an anchor). Each of the 7 have a reverse that matches the center piece(unknown if the center piece contains blended metal). Set 3 is only 5 medals, 4 maiden flight and 1 center piece(cruise ship). Set 4 appears to the only set made strictly for displaying as the reverse sides are blank with the center piece(what I call the Port Canaveral Seaport) and the last is only 1 medal of the maiden flight of Columbia which has writing on the reverse.
