After Gagarin's flight, the heads of the Cosmodrome Baikonur, decided they would make unique souvenirs and present them to the participants of the program. These medallion were made of fragments of the Gagarin’s rocket (gas bags). The fragments from the first rockets which fell to the ground, on the insistence of S.P.
